What is STEM Racing?

Established in 1999 in the UK, STEM Racing (formerly F1 in Schools) is a non-profit global platform promoting Formula 1 and STEM education to students aged 6 to 19.

In 2021, F1 in Schools Hong Kong was launched, introducing the programme and its competition to the region. Participants collaborate to design, manufacture, test, and race miniature compressed air-powered cars made from official Formula 1 model blocks, using CAD and CAM tools.
